After a morning spent hunched over busywork and research materials for an upcoming trials exam, the urge to get up and stretch has escalated as the notes on alien fungi is blurring together right in front of your eyes. A quick stroll around the Ranger Station should do the trick. Endless corridors of dorms for the rangers in training, all the necessities to house said trainees, offshoots to the rest of the facilities on the South Post Base, but it’s easy to get lost if you stray off the beaten path. The Ranger station, you think, doesn't necessarily have a lot of mystery to it, but one thing you should have kept in mind with Shantyland in general, is that there’s often a surprise around every corner. This realization comes right as you stop a moment in front of a small door, tucked away in the corner at the end of a dimly lit hallway. The door itself seems almost soggy, and you can see the starting of moss forming around the base, which means the climate control in the room must not be working properly. As if that’s a good enough reason to snoop, you stand in front of the door, listening for signs of life on the other side, but only for a moment-
